Troutdale Body Piercing and Tattoo, formerly Magic Rainbow. This has been a family owned business since 1974. It has been a business that has evolved over time. I am Sheryl Wheeler, owner and operator.

In the beginning I was a geology student at Portland State University and to supplement my income I made tire sandals in the park blocks and at the first Saturday Market. That first year I took a jewelry making class and started making special jewelry for people and piercing them.

I made mostly 14k gold with stones for ears but then I did exotic piercings and unusual jewelry. Later, I pierced in Gresham Fred Meyer for 15 years and made a lot of jewelry. Gresham has been my main focus area for most of 30 years. I raised my sons in the Gresham area and we love this community. Our shop is in Troutdale and Gresham area and we have known many customers for most of their lives.

We focus on being a community and piercing and tattooing in the best interest of the client. Body Piercing requires a lot of knowledge and experience. I takes many years to encounter all situations and know what to do. Jewelry placement, technique, aftercare knowledge, and a clear understanding of what the jewelry is that we are placing into our clients tissue, is all a part of our business.

We really care about our Gresham citizens here in the Columbia Gorge. We have built their trust so that they will listen to our advise about jewelry and placement and whether this piercing is
