hi i got a skin diver put in last month and it is healing fine, however it never occured to me that the diamond might fall out of the jewlery. since this is a perminent thing that i would hate to have to get cut out, is there anything that can be done to prevent this?

It just depends on how the diamond is being held in. Hopefully the prongs are sturdy and will hold the jewel in but if it is just glued in then it is more likely to fall out. Come by the shop and have us take a look!

hi again i also was wondering if i got a lip piercing over to the side (like a snake bite) would it damage my gums really bad. I had my lebret pierced and i wore it for 2 years and it wore my gums and teeth down so now i have to get them pulled out and get false teeth in the front. I am pretty tramatized from it but i miss my piercing so i am trying to find other places on the lip that would have less of an impact on my gums and teeth. Would it help if I wore a ring instead of a stud?

Of course, with any lip piercing you always want to keep an eye on any possible gum damage. It may have just been the specific jewelry that you were using. We often use push-pins which have a dental material on the back that tends to be easier on the gums.
